February 23, 1928 — September 27, 2019

Evelyn White Carlisle, age 91 of Franklin, TN passed away September 27, 2019. Retired as an LPN and worked for Dr. Fulton Greer and Dr. Howell Hoover for many years. She was always there for her countless friends. She was organized and made an impact on her family. She taught her family to be caring, sharing and hardworkers to see the accomplishments of their duties. She loved the beauty of the earth and enjoyed gardening. Preceded in death by husband, Gilman Thomas Carlisle; daughter, Geraldine Carlisle Adcock; parents, Terry Kinnard and Maggie Pate White; brother, Terry Kinnard "T.K." White, Jr.. Survived by: son, Michael Thomas (Pat) Carlisle of Franklin, TN; son in law, Ernest Warner Adcock of Belmont, NC; brother, William White of Hendersonville, TN; sister, Mary Lizzie Sledge of College Grove; grandchildren, Amy (Marsh) Spencer, Emily (Todd) Stone, Joshua (Mary) Carlisle and Rebekah (Joshua) Lutz; great grandchildren, Hannah (Josh) Holtz, Isaac Paul, Isaac Luke, Sarah, Libby, Gabriel and Esther Carlisle, Davis, Benjamin and Reilly Spencer, Mary and Anna Stone and Elijah Lutz. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 AM Monday, September 30, 2019 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Ernest Adcock, Marsh Spencer, Todd Stone, Joshua Carlisle, Joshua Lutz and Earl Nichols. Visitation will be 2-7PM Sunday and one hour prior to the service on Monday at WILLIAMSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 615 794-2289 williamsonmemorial.com
