Evelyn Moore

MOORE, Mrs. Evelyn F., of Franklin, TN, June 27, 2011. Devoted wife, mother and grandmother. A fashion model of runway and print she modeled for Riches in Atlanta and Dillard's in Nashville. An expert in poise and etiquette, she taught children's manner for the past 10 years at Dillard's stores. As a mom, she was active in ladies auxiliary for little league baseball, a team mother and even rode motorcycles with her two sons Stan and Randy. She loved swimming in her pool, quail hunting, dancing, Elvis, Hawaii, Peyton Manning, cooking, her lab Sally, and Bible study with her Sunday School Sisters. Evelyn and her husband "Buzz" celebrated 55 years of Marriage in August 2009. She was a Christian from the age of 7 when she professed her faith at Zion Baptist Church, Stone Mtn. Georgia. She lived a full life and was known for her elegance, kindness, sense of fashion, and grace. She will be missed and always loved by the many lives that she touched. Preceded in death by her husband Walter C. "Buzz" Moore. Survived by: sons, Stanley Clark (Laurie) Moore & Randall Charles ( Cynthia S.) Moore; sister, Hazel Whatley; brother, Gene (Ouida) Whatley; grandchildren, Jessica, Josephine, Christina, Sean and SarahBeth Moore; granddog, George W. Graveside Memorial Services will be conducted Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at Zion Baptist Chruch in Stone Mtn., GA.
