Everette William "Bill" Unger, age 80 of Franklin, TN formerly of Elk Grove Village, IL. Passed away December 26, 2014. A veteran of the Air Force during the Korean War. A member of the Church of God for 42 years. A Patriarch of the family that valued his relationship with God. On January 11, 1958 married his wife of 56 years, Ruth Mae Poppler Unger. He was a salesman for the Hartford Insurance Company in North Dakota and Minnesota. He then moved to Chicago, IL and worked for Mill Mutuals Insurance Company. Later retired from the Daily Herald Newspaper in Shaumburg, IL. Preceded in death by parents, Ernest and Myrtle Knisley Unger; five brothers and one sister. Survived by wife Ruth Mae Poppler Unger; children, Dianna (Jim) Kudjer, Dean (Terry) Unger and Denise (Donald) Parent; grandchildren, Derek, Sean and Jamie Kudjer, Kelly, Kyle, Kory and Karlee Unger, Katelyn, Kevin and Kaylee Parent. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00AM Friday, January 16, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
