Farris Reed

Farris Elizabeth Reed, age 38 of Brentwood, TN passed away unexpectedly January 16, 2017. Farris grew up in Brentwood and attended Harpeth Academy and Harpeth Hall. She received her Bachelor's Degree from George Washington University in Washington, DC, after which she worked alongside her father as his office manager for many years. Survived by: father, Dr. Edmond G. Reed; mother, Pamela A. Reed; sister, Alexis Reed (Todd) Sims; nephew, Merritt Sims and niece, Grayson Sims. Her role as aunt was one of the most important to her in her life, and she had an incredible bond with her niece and nephew. To her family, she is irreplaceable. Private memorial services will be conducted at a later time in Destin, FL, Farris' favorite childhood place. Memorials may be made to Williamson County Animal Center, 106 Claude Yates Dr., Franklin, TN or St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
