Franklin Eugene "Bertha" Black, age 72 of Franklin, TN passed away October 10, 2016. He loved gardening, outdoors and attending turkey shoots. Retired Field Supervisor at Nashville Electric. Preceded in death by his wife of 27 years, Alta Pearl Black; parents, Herbert & Virginia Black; brothers, Ernest & Jimmy Black; sister, Ann Miller. Survived by sister, Birdie Marie (A.D.) Gilmore; brothers & sisters in-law, Fay Black, Becky (Bubba) Ham, Clifton (Joan) Veach, Connie (John) Koelz & Pam (Mike) Marlin and several nieces & nephews. Funeral service will be 11:00AM Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Employees of NES, John Heithcock, David Tomlin, Tim Bruce, Frank, Jeff & William Reed. Memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
