Frederick Evans

Frederick William Evans was ushered by angels into the presence of his King Jesus on February 16, 2016. He was 74 years old. Born in Henlawson, WV, he was the devoted son to the late Millard and Iris Evans and also preceded in death by sister, Bertha Booker. A veteran of the U.S. Army and a 33 year employee of Ford Motor Company in Chicago, IL, he spent the last nineteen years in Tennessee to be close to his grandbabies. His life is celebrated by his wife of 57 years, Julia Chambers Evans; daughter, Natalie Barton, and son in law Kurt Barton and four grandchildren, Taylor, Luke, Evan and Sophia. A loving, kind, generous, and humble man. Visitation will be Friday, February 19 from 5-7PM and February 20, 2016 at 1:00 PM with a Celebration Service at 2:00 PM at the Church of the City Franklin. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will be pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be GEMS Sunday School Class. Memorials may be made to Church of the City.
