Gary Moody

Gary Lee Moody age 60 of Franklin, TN passed away from an apparent heart attack on May 22, 2015. Gary was a Retired Operations Manager with Piedmont Natural Gas. He attended Sullivan Central High School in Blountville, TN, he then graduated from UT Knoxville with a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering. He was very active with Boy Scouts of America Troop 137 as the Gardening Merit Badge Counselor, and attended Franklin First United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents Bill and Pauline Moody. Survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Phoebe Wilson Moody; sons, Lee Wilson Moody, and Paul Josef Moody both of Franklin, TN; brothers, Michael (Sherry) Moody of Kingsport, TN and Richard (Lucy) Moody of Blountville, TN; nieces, Christina Frazier, Mary and Rachel Moody; nephews, Matthew (Candace) Moody. Funeral services will be held 1:00PM Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Interment, Williamson Memorial Gardens. Lee Moody, Paul Moody, Richard Moody, Harvey Moody, Ray Moody, Matthew Moody, Keith Wilson and Tim Mercer will serve as pallbearers.
