Geneva Lynne Vance

Geneva Lynne Vance, age 89, of Franklin, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2025. She was born on October 10, 1935, in Columbia, KY, to the late Ruby Loy and Zeno Lawhorn.

A devoted wife, mother, and sister, Geneva dedicated her life to her family. She was a loving homemaker who found joy in caring for those around her. She cherished time spent with loved ones and always looked forward to trips to the beach. 

In addition to her parents, Geneva was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Edward W. Vance; son, Eric W. Vance; brothers, Kenneth Lawhorn and Donald Lawhorn; and sister, Jeannette Montgomery.

Those left to cherish Geneva’s memory are her daughter, Rene’ Vance; sister, Yvonne Marshall; and one grandchild.

A Memorial Service will be held on March 1, 2025, at 1:00PM at Bethlehem United Methodist Church with visitation beginning two hours prior to the service. An inurnment will follow at Williamson Memorial Gardens.
