George Alan "A.G." Green, January 2, 1960 - July 23, 2019
Preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Elaine Green of Coleman Rd, Franklin, TN and brother, David Green of Franklin, TN. He is survived by daughter, Savannah Anne Green of Nashville, TN; grandson, Lennon Wulbrecht; sister, Beth Green of Lyles, TN and nephews Lukas, Zackary and Saylor Saul.
Alan is leaving behind so many friends who will miss his contagious smile and love for life who will be serving as pallbearers, from lifelong friends to members of the Blazer Lane Sportman's Club, VFW Post 4893 and Franklin and Waverly Elks Lodge.
Retired from Kroger, Alan was a Surveyor, a gardener, a cook and mowed lawns for his Coleman Rd neighbors. He carried on our Mother's baking business for many years most notably the pies at our beloved Halfway Market.
A lover of most anything that ended in "ing" - golfing, fishing, dancing, singing, watching football and drinking - your baby sister will be missing you and loving you forever.
Funeral Services will be held 12:00PM Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, with visitation 4-8:00PM Friday and one hour prior to the service. Interment, Garrison Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the George Alan Green Memorial Fund.
