George King, III

KING, George Walter, III of Franklin, TN went to be with his Heavenly Father on June 28th . He was of 64. Born in Alexandria, VA George was preceded in death by his parents, George and Margie King. Celebrating his life, George is survived by his wife, Kathryn King; Son, Andrew King, Daughter Jennifer Payne and Stepson, Christopher Jacobs; Grandchildren: Dustin Wright, Julia Wright, Seth Payne, Madison King and Anakin King ; Brothers: David King, Peter King; Sisters: Judy Osterhaus, Lynn Nestor, Sue Olsen, Debra Jacobs and many nieces and nephews. George spent his early years in Full-time ministry traveling the world with his group: George King and the Fellowship. His prolific career in the Christian music industry encompassed both music and film. George had the heart of a pastor, was a gifted bible teacher and visionary in Christian Music. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00AM Monday, July 1, 2013 at Grace Chapel, 3279 Southall Rd. Franklin, TN 37064, gracechapel.net. Interment will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens.
