Gladys Vernell Holland Scott, age 93 of Franklin, TN , July 16, 2016. Born in Tishomingo County, Mississippi to the late W.T. & Maudie Massey Holland. Member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Columbia, TN. Preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Scott; son, Harold Scott; three brothers and five sisters. Survived by son, Ray (Nell) Scott; sisters, Donna Eversole and Dot Abbott; grandchildren, Lori (Keith) Crews, Steve (Heather) Scott, Lynea (Jeff) Wiginton, Suzi (Ricky) Bates, Amy (Juan) Padilla; fourteen great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 6-8PM Tuesday and 11AM-1PM Wednesday at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 1:00PM Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Pastor Lawrence Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Great grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family wishes to thank the staffs of Willow Springs, Williamson Medical Center and NHC Franklin.
