Glenn Carvell

Glenn Allen Carvell, age 83 of the Bethesda Community passed away April 15, 2019. Retired music director with various churches over 45 years of service. He taught Sunday School Class and served in various leadership positions with churches. He was a dedicated and faithful servant to his Lord and Savior. Preceded in death by daughter, Keri Carvell; parents, Allen and Katherine Story Carvell. Survived by: wife of 49 years, Martha Skinner Carvell; sons, Larry Thomas Carvell and Tim (Vicki) Flippen; brother, Larry Steven Carvell; grandchildren, Tiffany (Roy) Brantley, Tyler Flippen; step grandson, Keven (Kristen) Daniel; great grandchildren, Cortland, Gatlin and Timlon Flippen, Rochelle Brantley; step great grandchild, Olivea Brantley. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, April 18, 2019 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Bobby Sadler and Gary Fewell officiating. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Albert Skinner, Jr., Roy Brantley, Rhett Presley, Jimmy Ryan, Richard Schuer and Tyler Flippen. Honorary pallbearers will be Benny Hargrove and members of Jones Chapel Church of the Nazarene. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Alive Hospice.
