Mr. Grady Bailey Leopard, Sr., age 78 passed away September 21, 2015. Received his Bachelors Degree from Birmingham-Southern College. Founder and publisher of The Williamson Leader. Avid Alabama football fan. Deacon at Forest Hills Baptist Church and First Baptist Church Franklin. Founding member and elder of Grace Cumberland Presbyterian Church.Preceded in death by parents, Charles Grady and Ida Louise Bailey Leopard and brother Robert Lee Leopard. Survived by: wife, LaVelle McCain Leopard of Thompson's Station, TN; Leopard; son, Bailey Leopard, Jr. of Memphis, TN; daughters, Louise (Harvey) Wachsman of Pelham, AL and Becky Leopard of Spring Hill, TN; sister, Nancy (Bill) Presley of Athens, AL; grandchildren, Grady, Wallace & Nonie Leopard. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Rev. Randy Hammer officiating. Memorials may be made to Birmingham-Southern College r or Lions Club International.
