Gwen Parker

Gwen Parker, age 90 of Franklin, TN passed away December 24, 2018. Gwen was a devoted Christian and loving wife and mother. She was born an only child during the Great Depression. She had many stories and lessons to share. She was always the voice of reason, love and forgiveness for her family and friends. She was one of a kind and was treasured by all that knew her. Preceded in death by parents, Jessie & Esther Jackson; daughter, Susan Parker, son, Jack Parker. Survived by husband of 73 years, Calvin Parker; son, Bill (Alice) Parker; daughter, Dru (Buddy) Victory; daughter in law, Linda (John) Pope; grandchildren, Michelle (David) Oakes, Susan (Richard) Graham, Rachel (Kyle) Thomas, Andy (Rebekah) Parker, Wess (Kim) Victory, Cal Victory, Mandy (Daniel) Widick; thirteen great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 1:00PM Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Mike Welch, Salvador Bermudez and Buddy Victory officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to BrightStone Inc. helping adults with special needs; 140 Southeast Pkwy, Franklin, TN. 37064. Private burial will be in Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
