Harold Harr

Mr. Harold Wayne Harr, age 76 of Franklin, TN passed away April 19, 2016 after a brief illness. Wayne was a graduate of Blountville High School and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and served as editor of Tennessee Farmer magazine for many years. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 32 years, Jane Ann Greeson Harr; parents, Henry D. and Ethel E. Barger Harr; sister, Aileen Harr Runion, brothers-in-law, David Greeson, Tom Runion, Bill Steadman and Fred Nutt and sister-in-law, Dot Greeson. Wayne is survived by: sons, David Wayne (Tracy) Harr & Harold Lee (Amy) Harr; sister, Helen Harr Steadman; sister-in-law, Katherine Nutt; grandchildren, Avery, Ryan, Jackson, Hudson & Emma Harr who fondly referred to their grandpa as Papaw; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 PM Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Entombment will be in the Magnolia Mausoleum. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
