Harold Whittaker

Mr. Harold Whittaker, age 80 of Franklin, TN passed away August 2, 2016 at his home. Born in Putnam County to the late Willie & Winnie Maxell Whittaker. He was loved by everyone and loved helping people find homes. Harold was devoted and loved to be with his children & grandchildren. Member of Brentwood Baptist Church for over 36 years. He was a fan of the UT Vols and loved to work in his garden. Survived by wife of 59 years, Shirley Whittaker; son, Mark Whittaker; daughter, Leanne (Barry) Parker; brothers, Bob (Jean) Whittaker & Earl (Diane) Whittaker; grandchildren, John (Drew) Whittaker, Kayla Parker & Micah Parker and many other loving family members and friends. Funeral service will be held 2:00PM Friday, August 5, 2016 at Brentwood Baptist Church, Dr. Michael L. Glenn officiating. Burial will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the TN Baptist Children's Home or Room In the Inn.
