Harry Hughes

Mr. Harry Holmes Hughes, age 84 of Franklin, TN passed away January 13, 2016 in Nashville, TN. Born in Williamson County to the late William Clarence & Frances Elizabeth King Hughes. He loved his family, farming and tending to the cattle. Preceded in death by his first wife, Lois Cook Hughes; son, Gordon Hughes; daughter, Melissa Hughes and her baby, Renea; sister, Mary Jean Hughes Flippen; brother, Albert Hughes. Survived by wife, Anna Hughes; sons, Randy (Jackie) Hughes, Matthew Hughes and Vance (Christy) Walls; brother, Jack (Betty) Hughes; grandchildren, Brook (John) Stokes, Crystal Hughes, Kelsey (Jake) Whitman and Annie Walls; great-grandchildren, Caden & Corbin Hughes and Gus Whitman. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00PM Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Jake Whitman, Dusty Sauter, Cory McMillan, Sonny Cook, Grant Forrest and Jamie Beasley. Honorary pallbearers will be Corbin Hughes, Caden Hughes, Gus Whitman, Jon Stokes, Cameron Hughes and Grant Hughes. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
