CLIFTON, Mrs. Helen Joyce Turner, age 82 of Franklin, TN. passed away July 8, 2010. Retired Secretary of the TN. Baptist Convention. Member of the Grassland Heights Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents George and Era Turner and brother Mahlon Turner. Survived by daughters, Melissa (Dewey) Garland of Thompson's Station, TN. and Ellen (Ken) Garrett of Spring Hill, TN.; sister, Peggy (Autra) Smothers of Bellevue, TN.; grandson, Tyler Garrett. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00PM Sunday, July 11, 2010 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Bro. Cal Cooper officiating. Visitation 4-7:00PM Saturday and one hour prior to the service on Sunday. Graveside services and interment to follow at 4:00PM Sunday at Maplewood Cemetery in Pulaski, TN. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials can be made to the Grassland Heights Baptist Church or to Alive Hospice.
