Hilda Barker

Hilda Stokes Barker, age 92 passed away suddenly on November 13, 2016 at her residence. Hilda lovingly known as Nana was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many. Born in Holiday, TN to the late Walter and Florence Wall Stokes. A member of the Burwood Church of Christ she loved quilting, painting and cooking. Preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Neil Barker; son, Frank Barker; sister, Mary Jo Stokes and son-in-law Jeffrey Craig. She leaves behind her daughters, Nancy Craig of Murfreesboro, TN and Sandra (Mike) Heyboer of Hendersonville, TN; grandchildren, Stephen (Chayla) Craig, Lindsey Craig (Mike Davenport), Keith (Jennifer) Heyboer, Kayla (Chris) Hanson and Kristen Heyboer; great grandchildren, Grayson and Rylan Heyboer, Liam Hanson, Scotlyn, Sadie and Stokes Craig; special niece and nephew, Judy Hayes and Jon Duncan; beloved cat Sam. Services will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 4-8PM Tuesday and one hour prior to service. Burial at the Burwood Cemetery. Family and friends to serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Burwood Church of Christ and Burwood community friends.
