Jacqueline Reed

Jacqueline (Harrell) Reed, age 92, born in Muncie, IN on March 28, 1929, the only child of Von and Helen (Hudson) Harrell. Graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1947 and attended Ball State Teachers College for two years. Married James E. Reed in 1949 and worked as a secretary for various corporations in Muncie, South Bend and Fort Wayne before becoming a stay-at-home mother in 1957. Active member of Faith United Methodist Church in North Canton, OH and the United Methodist Women. Member of Chapter EI of the P.E.O. Sisterhood. She enjoyed volunteer work and traveling in the states as well as overseas, including Elderhostel Programs. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, James Reed. She is survived by her daughter, Paula Hoover and husband Gregory of Franklin, TN and her son, Stuart Reed and wife, Rosemarie of Canton, OH; granddaughters, Amy Hoover of Franklin, TN, Sarah Storey and husband Scott of Cookeville, TN. She will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Faith United Methodist Church in Canton, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the P.E.O. Foundation for Women’s Education.
