November 29, 1939 — February 4, 2018

James Marshall Cook, age 78 of Franklin, TN passed away February 4, 2018. Retired from Neely Coble after 30+ years of service. 1958 Graduate of Battle Ground Academy. Received his Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from Vanderbilt University. He was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha. Preceded in death by parents, Charles Marshall and Mary Margaret Barnes Cook and brother, Charles William Cook and grandson, Lane Carter Farris. Survived by: Leslie Oliver Cook; sons, James Bradford Cook, Jonathan Creighton (Lynn) Cook and William E. (Ellen) Farris; daughter, Mallie Farris (Joe) Almon; sister, Mary Ann Crowell; grandchildren, Grayson, Jackson, Griffin, Carson, Emerson & Sarah Scott Cook, Liam & Morgan Farris, Lacey & Courtney Almon. Memorial services will be conducted 10:00 AM Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Dr. Todd Jones and Dr. Sandra Randleman officiating. Memorials may be made to Battle Ground Academy 1958 Scholarship Fund, %Kristin Napier, 336 Ernest Rice Lane, Franklin, TN 37069.
