CROWELL, Mr. James Reed "Jim" Sr. age 88 of Franklin, TN, August 21, 2013. Longtime farmer in Williamson Co. and partner with Crowell Motor Lines. Member of Peytonsville Church of Christ. Member of Tennessee Cattlemen's Association; 2005 Williamson Co. Cattleman of the Year; board member of University of Tennessee Agriculture Development Board.; former board member of Franklin Special School District; former President (1968-1969) and member of Franklin Noon Rotary Club and recipient of the Paul Harris Fellow Award; former board member of Harpeth National Bank. He was an avid golfer. Preceded in death by son, James Reed "Bucky" Crowell, Jr.; brothers, Hal, Hoyte & P.B. Jr. Crowell. Survived by wife of 64 years, Mary Ann C. Crowell; sons, Marshall Clay (Debra) Crowell & William Keith Crowell; sister, Dolores Crowell King; grandchildren, Marshall Clinton (Cassie) Crowell & Christopher Clay Crowell; great grandchild, Riley Harrison Crowell. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00AM Friday, August 23, 2013 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Myron Keith officiating. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery.
