James Dodd

James R. "Jimmy" Dodd, age 82 of Franklin, TN passed away August 31, 2018 from injuries sustained from an automobile accident. Preceded in death by parents, Bryan and Myrtle Dodd; brothers, Harold, Elbert and John Dodd and sister, Ruth Skinner. Survived by: wife of 52 years, Glenda Edwards Dodd; daughters, Annette (Myron) Daugherty, Lillian (John) Roberson, Lisa (Mike) VanParys and Cheryl Dodd; brothers, Bobby (Ruth) Dodd, Earl (Mary) Dodd, Gerald Dodd and Nelson (Jean) Dodd; sisters, Mary King, Emogene Dodd and Linda (Buddy) Lipscomb; grandsons, Robert Young and Will VanParys; granddaughters, Danielle (Brandon) Swanner, Taylor (Lukas) Jordan, Haley Young, Leanne Daugherty and Lindsey VanParys; great grandsons, Robert Young, Jr., Karson Swanner and Braxton Johnson; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association or American Lung Association.
