James Melvin Emmett, age 86 of Eagleville, TN went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 5, 2019.

Jim was born in Petersburg, Il on September 6, 1932, son of the late Clarence Emmett & Loraine Oliphant.

Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Marietta Willis Emmett; son, Vincent (Brenda) Emmett; daughter, Vickie (Rich) Leipzig; sisters, Jeri Wagner, Clarice Sloan & Doris Bacon; 9 grandchildren, Lacey (Matt), Grant, Eva, Stella, Berke, Luke, Andrew, David & Steven; 3 great grandchildren, Finley, Beau & Everest.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM on Friday May 10, 2019 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM with Michael Tilford officiating.

Burial will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens with military honors.

Memorials may take the form of donations to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in loving memory of James Melvin Emmett.
