James Hargrove

James Floyd Hargrove, age 71 of Franklin, TN passed away January 20, 2019. Member of Pond Church of Christ. Preceded in death by parents, L.B. and Mary Jane Conner Hargrove; stepfather, J.D. Manley, infant son, Floyd Jr., brothers, Lewis Hargrove, Alex Hargrove, sister, Dorothy Hargrove, grandsons, B.J. Irvine and Michael Matheson and great granddaughter, Sophia Faith Whidby. Survived by: wife of 23 years, Thelma Hargrove; sons, Eddie (Sandra) Hargrove and Floyd L.B. Hargrove; daughters, Tammy (Dale) McMinnis and Melinda (Shorty) Hargrove; stepson, Tony (Sandra) Harper; step daughter, Teresa (Mike) Matheson; brothers, Lester (Shirley) Hargrove and Doris Hargrove; thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; beloved pet, Sweet Baby Sissie and other loving family members. Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 PM Thursday, January 24, 2019, Ronnie Mealer officiating. Burial will be in Pond Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Justin Erickson, Kenneth Hargrove, Kevin Hargrove, Bruce Mangrum, Casey Christ, Dusty Mealer, Dale McGinnis and Shorty Hernandez. Honorary pallbearers will be B.J. Hargrove, Christopher Hargrove and Terry Matheson. Memorials may be made to Pond Church of Christ.
