James Hatcher Hays, age 62 of Nashville, TN formerly of Franklin, TN passed away September 12, 2016. He grew up in the Green Hills area where he attended Julia Green Elementary School and graduated from Hillsboro High School. Preceded in death by his parents, Harmon & Mary Frances Hays and step-father, George L. Clements. Survived by daughter, Katie Hays of Nashville, TN; brother, Harmon J. (Annette) Hays, Jr. of Memphis, TN and his beloved dogs, Ally & Knox. Visitation will be 4-7PM Thursday at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Memorial service will be 11:00AM Friday, September 16, 2016 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Inurnment, Mt. Hope Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Nashville Humane Society.
