James Hester

Mr. James Preston Hester, age 68 of Franklin, TN, January 24, 2015. Graduate of Memphis State University and a veteran of the United States Air Force. Retired from Procter & Gamble and a member of the People's Church where he taught children's Sunday School for 30 years. Longtime volunteer coach for the Williamson County Soccer Association and helped the Page High and Page Middle Soccer programs. Preceded in death by parents, Dr. J.B. & Doris Hester and beloved niece, Leslie Harvey. Survived by wife of 44 years, Betsy Hester; daughter, Anne Hester; son, Mike (Erica) Hester; granddaughter, Eleanor Hester; sister, Rev. Kaye (George) Hester Harvey; nephews, George Harvey IV, Alex, Adam & Aaron Comer, Matt, Bryan & Paul McCoy. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00PM Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the People's Church, Ed Alexander & Richard Barnes officiating. Visitation will be 4-7PM Tuesday at the People's Church and one hour prior to the service. Interment, Williamson Memorial Gardens. Family & Friends will serve as pallbearers.
