James Robinson

November 7, 1929 — October 27, 2015

Mr. James Homer Robinson, age 85 of Nashville, TN passed away October 27, 2015. Veteran of the U.S. Army where he was a medic and served on the front lines in Korea. Retired owner and operator of Images Printing. Member of the Elks Lodge. He was a compassionate caregiver to those he loved. He had a magnetic personality and loved telling stories. Caring and dedicated husband, father, granddaddy and brother. He had a kind spirit that will be dearly missed. Preceded in death by wife, Hazel West Robinson. Survived by: wife, Frances Robinson; children, Jan (Perry) Housman & Todd (Sandra) Robinson; step children, Kenny (Therese) Williams & Lori (Brad) Fant; brother, Leon "Shorty" Robinson; grandchildren, Elizabeth (John) Whetstine, Bryan Housman, Amanda (Mo) Littleford & Kelsey Robinson; step grandchildren, Kenny Williams Jr., Joe (Nissa) Williams, Matthew (Sarah Kate) Fant & Ben Fant great grandchildren, Isabella & Noah Whetstine & Ava Williams. Funeral services will be conducted 2:30PM Friday, October 30, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Adrian Altshuler & David Osborne officiating. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Tim Robinson, Blake Robinson, Matthew Fant, Ben Fant, Kenny Williams, Jr. & Joe Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Elk Lodge Poker Buddies, Camden Bay Friends and his South Dakota Hunting Friends. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Alzheimer's Association. Visitation will be 4-8PM Thursday and one hour prior to the service at WILLIAMSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 615 794-2289. www.williamsonmemorial.com
