THIGPEN, Mr. James Junior "Jim", age 81 of Brentwood, TN, June 21, 2010. Familiar figure in Brentwood being an original "Brentwoodian", the time before the interstate. Jim was known for his skills as a carpenter and built countless custom furniture and cabinets for customers in Brentwood and surrounding areas. Survived by: wife of 61 years, Jeane Muse Thigpen; sons, James Rex (Ellen) Thigpen & Shayne Lea Thigpen; grandchildren, James Ryan Thigpen, Andrea Celeste Westfall, Michael Shayne Thigpen, Aleasha Kristine Thigpen & James Addison Thigpen; great grandchildren Alex, Olivia & Emma Westfall, Skylar & Brooklyn Hart. Memorial services will be conducted 1:00 PM Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Vona Wilson officiating.
