J.B. Chester

Mr. J.B. Chester, age 87 of Waverly, TN formerly of Franklin, TN passed away August 9, 2016. Born in Williamson County to the late James Lundy & Nina Gladys Smith Chester. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict. J.B. worked in the construction industry for most all of his life. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Bessie Mai Wiley Chester; sons, Butch Dunnivant and Mike Chester; daughters, Suzanne "Susie" Dunnivant Saxon, Becky Chester (Jim) Martz and Donna (Steve) Simmons; grandson, Brent (Stephanie) Dunnivant; sister, Lillie Mae Martin. Funeral service will be conducted 1:00PM Friday, August 12, 2016 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Jeff Elliott, Chuck Hood, Mike Gillespie, Bill Williams, John Wiley, Darrell Wiley and Brent Dunnivant. Honorary pallbearers will be David Hatcher, John Derr and Bobby T. Ladd. The family would like to thank the nurses and caregivers at Signature Healthcare in Erin, TN for all of the love and care shown to J.B.
