Jere Trevathan

November 22, 1946 — June 23, 2015

Jere Wilson Trevathan, age 68 of Brentwood, TN completed his earthly journey on June 23, 2015 at Alive Hospice, Nashville, TN. Jere was born on November 22, 1946 to the late Woodrow Wilson and Juanita Black Trevathan in Springfield, Tennessee. He graduated from Springfield High School and Belmont University. Mr. Trevathan was a member of the Brentwood United Methodist Church. His career was with Genesco, Inc., State of Tennessee and CSX Railroad. Jere loved UT Football, bowling, golfing and being with his granddaughters. Mr. Trevathan is survived by his wife, Judy and his son, Jay (Lauren) Trevathan; granddaughters, Emma and Harper Trevathan; brothers, Michael (Darlene) and Jeff (Sharon); sisters, Diane Kear, Sheila Berry and Phyllis (Timothy) Molyneux; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews; a host of very dear friends, classmates and relatives. Visitation will be 4-8PM Thursday, June 25th and one hour prior to the service at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00AM Friday, June 26, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, The Rev. Dr. Jeffrey Wilson & Gwen Pullen officiating. Entombment will follow in Remembrance Mausoleum at Williamson Memorial Gardens. Steve Bass, Jeff Trevathan, Michael Trevathan, Tim Molyneux, Sam Chitty and Adam Crews will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
