Jerry Evans Barker, 66, of Franklin, TN, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018. A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00PM Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Forest Hills Baptist Church with Dr. Jerry Winfield (Pastor, Oak Valley Baptist Church) officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the Celebration of Life at Forest Hills Baptist Church, 2101 Old Hickory Blvd, Nashville, TN. 37215. Jerry cared deeply for and was committed to his friends, home and community, but the crowning achievement of his life was his family. His love and dedication to them was absolutely ceaseless and he was treasured for his passionate investment in each of their lives. He is preceded in death by his parents Katie and Murry Barker; brother Danny Barker. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Barker; son, Brent Barker (wife Mimi Barker); daughter, Jennifer Phan (husband Chris Phan); sister, Patricia Ingram and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
