Jo Ann Whidby King

Jo Ann Whidby King, age 81 of Franklin, TN passed away January 21, 2025. Native of Williamson County, TN. She was a loving wife, mother, Nana and was a talented singer. She was a member of Garrison United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by husband of 62 years, Glenn King; son, Jason King and parents, James and Mattie Lou Anderson Whidby; brother, Willard Whidby. Survived by: son, Tim (Melissa) King; sister, Sue (Ray) Givens; grandchild, Tyler Wayne King and great grandchild, Elle King. The family would like to give special thanks to her extended family at Harpeth at Harmony Hills. Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 PM Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until time of service on Tuesday. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Garrison United Methodist Church, Elaine Anderson and Wayne Whidby.
