Joe Ridley Cox, age 66 of Columbia, TN, formerly of Franklin, TN passed away August 16, 2018. He was a lifelong resident of Williamson County. Joe was employed for over 40 years with Moody's Tire and Auto Service. He is preceded in death by his parents, Allen & Gladys Cox and brother, Jimmy Cox. Survived by wife of 46 years, Patricia Cox of Columbia, TN; sons, Joe (Renee) Cox of Spring Hill, TN, Houston (Jennifer) Cox of Spring Hill, TN and Bobby Cox of Columbia, TN; brother, Elisha Allen, Jr. Cox; sisters, Janice Faye McCord of Columbia, TN, Carlene (David) Anderson of Thompsons Station, TN and Marjorie Scales of Franklin, TN; grandchildren, Savannah Cox, Oliver Cox & Levi Cox and several other loving family members. Funeral service will be held 11:00AM Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be former and current employees of Moody's Tire & Auto Service. Memorials may be made to the Joe Cox Memorial Fund.
