Mr. Joe Raymond Johnson, age 83 of Lewisburg, TN, formerly of Franklin, TN passed away June 12, 2016. Veteran of the U.S. Army. Preceded in death by his parents, Joe & Birdie Ragsdale Johnson; brother, Jimmy Johnson; sister, Katie Brown; brother in-law, Charles Brown; sister in-law, Louise Johnson. Survived by wife of 50 years, Trula Coleman Johnson; sons, Ray (Debbie) Johnson & Mike (Roberta) Johnson; daughters, Lynn (Gary) Babcock, Michelle "Pete" (Billy) Lampley and Holly (James) Bond; brother, JV Johnson; sister-in-law Dorothy Johnson; eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Active pallbearers: Ray Johnson, Joey Johnson, Gary Babcock, Billy Lampley, James Bond, Charles Edwards and Chas Edwards. Grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
