John Miller

John Robert Miller, age 17, passed away on January 29, 2016. He was a senior at Brentwood High School. John was known for his kind and generous spirit, sense of humor, and intellectual curiosity. A gifted student, John was a National Merit Scholar looking forward to a promising future. He played trumpet in the BHS Marching Band, was an elite-gamer, and was fortunate to have many wonderful friends. John's parents were honored to call him their son. He made his family very proud, and will be profoundly missed. John is survived by his father, Robert F. Miller; mother, Patricia "Trish" Merelo-Miller; twin sister, Kelly Miller and grandparents, Robert Merelo and Patricia Merelo. Visitation with the family will be Monday, February 1, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 9100 Crockett Road, Brentwood, TN. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Holy Family Catholic Church, Father Joe McMahon celebrant.
