John Notarianni

October 4, 1954 — February 5, 2018

It is with great sadness that the family of John Herbert Notarianni (63 yrs old) announces his passing. He went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 5th, 2018. Jono (as most knew him) fought a long battle with emphysema with such dignity, grace, peace and perseverance. Jono will be greatly remembered for his contagious laughter, sense of humor, compassion and kindness! He loved life to the fullest, loved family and friends deeply, loved the Lord and taught unconditional love so well. He loved to read, usually 5 books per week. He gave his heart and anything he had to anyone in need. Everywhere he went he treated strangers like he had known them for quite some time. Jono was purely passionate about the rescue and loving treatment of animals and lived out his passion daily as he cared for his precious dog, Ziva. The two were everything to one another and a constant demonstration of the unconditional love Jono valued so dearly. Jono never complained and even on his most challenging days with his deteriorating health he would fill a room with his laughter and joy. He knew not the negative and only spoke of the positive. Every day to Jono was a great day! He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, his loving dog Ziva and all who knew him.
Jono was preceded in death by his parents, John and June Notarianni and his brother Mark Notarianni. He is survived by his sisters, Elizabeth Ingram and husband Preston Ingram; Deborah Weeks; and Janet Worsham and husband Elroy Worsham. His nephews and nieces, Heather Phillips and husband Jim Phillips; Bucky Ingram; Paiton Ingram; Candace Worsham; Tiffany Notarianni; and Robert Notarianni. His great nephew and great nieces, John Phillips; Georgia Phillips; and Ava Grace Ingram. A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, February 19th, 2018 from 4:30 p.m. -6:30p.m. Williamson Memorial Funeral Home 3009 Columbia Avenue, Franklin, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Nashville Metro Animal Shelter. WILLIAMSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 615-794-2289. www.williamsonmemorial.com
