John Swauger

SWAUGER, John C. "Jay", age 84 of Franklin, TN, May 25, 2013. He served as the Vice President of American General Life Ins. Co. and a former High School Teacher in Pennsylvania. He also was a joint chairman for the Williamson County Parks and Recreation Dept. Jay is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Edward and Nellie Gertrude Whipkey Swauger and son, Greg Swauger. Survived by loving wife of 59 years, Marge Swauger; sons, Mark (Laura) Swauger and Kurt (Elsie) Swauger; daughters, Karen (Burt) Bordine, Lisa Swauger and Marsha Kerrigan; daughter in law, Peggy Swauger; brother, Bill Swauger; grandchildren, Allison and Sara Swauger, Joseph and Shawn Weller, Cooper Raymond, Ben and Erin Swauger, Karina, Zachary and Kelsie Swauger. A Mass of Resurrection will be held 10:30AM Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at St. Phillip Catholic Church, Father Bala officiating. Visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to the Mass at the Church. Memorials may be made to the St. Phillip Christmas Basket Program, 113 Second Ave, Franklin, TN 37064.
