John White

John Marvin White, age 91 of Lyles, TN passed away August 12, 2018. Former bus driver for the Franklin Interurban. Preceded in death by wife, Betty Teal White, parents, Marvin Austin and Mable Gaskill White; grandson, Corey Ford; son in law, Robert Hornburger, Jr. and sister, Carolyn Gunnells. Survived by: daughters, Jayne White Hornburger and Phyllis White Ford; son, David White; brothers, Wayne White and Ned (Marie) White; grandchildren, Christy (James "Tash" Bruce) Poteete, Austin McCabe, Rosie McCabe and John Thomas White; great grandchildren, Andrew McCabe, Aubrey McCabe, Zachary Lampley and Amelia Jane Lampley; mother of his children, Sarah Newell; caregiver, Jenifer Davis and beloved pet, Baby Girl. Graveside services will be conducted 3:00 PM Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Williamson Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be J.T. White, Andrew McCabe, Wendell White, Billy Webb, Steve Chitwood, Tash Bruce, Carl Garner and Jason Manis. Memorials may be made to the John Marvin White Memorial Fund.
