Johnnie Joseph "Joe / Jody" Beard, age 79 of Franklin, TN passed away December 29, 2015. Preceded in death by parents, John Leonard & Mary Addie Hartley Beard. Survived by wife of 60 years, Rena Skinner Beard; sons, Johnny (Christy) Beard and James "Jimmy" Beard; brother, Edward Russell Beard; sisters, Mary Frances (Ralph) Griggs; grandson, Anthony "Joey" (Aubri) Beard; great-grandchildren, Brian Tucker Beard and Dallas John Beard; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00PM Saturday, January 2, 2016 with visitation from 10AM-2PM at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Dr. Larry Pearre officiating. Burial will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers: Jacob King, Jimmy Kergan, Frank Drewry, Ron Dickinson and Bradley Welch.
