Funeral arrangements and services will be handled through Burt Funeral Home in Ft Payne, AL.
Burial will be at Walker's Chapel Cemetery in Dogtown, AL.
Visitation will be Tuesday March 30, 2010 from 4pm - 8pm at Burt Funeral Home, Ft Payne
Funeral will be a Graveside Wednesday March 31, 2010 at 11am at Walker's Chapel Cemetery
The Ft Payne, AL native was son of the late Clakey Griggs & Ophelia Brewster Griggs.
He was a residential home builder in Alabama and Tennessee. He enjoyed spending time outdoors with his grandchildren and riding horses.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years Therese Wright Griggs. Sons, Brian Lee (Misti) Griggs, Johnny Brett Griggs, Grandson Johnny Colton Griggs and granddaughter Abigail Leigh Griggs. Sister Norma (Joe) Gilbert.
He was preceded in death by a sister Ann Griggs and infant brother Ronnie Griggs.
Pallbearers will be, Kerry Wayne Griggs, Jimmy Dale Griggs, Jason Griggs, Stanley Griggs, Joe Gilbert & Mike Anderson
