Johnny Ray Wise

Johnny Ray Wise, born on August 7, 1955, in Franklin, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on September 5 2024, in Dickson, Tennessee, surrounded by his loving family. He leaves behind a legacy of and love that will be deeply cherished by all who knew him.

He was devoted to his wife, Linda Wise, Johnny shared many joyful moments, including dancing together, which are now fond memories held close by those left behind. Throughout his career, Johnny proudly worked at Bentley Trucking for over 20 years, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to his profession.

Beyond his career, Johnny was known for his caring nature. He took great joy in looking after his family, as well as a beloved dog, Ginger, showcasing his gentle and nurturing spirit. Johnny's personality shone through in every interaction; he was always eager to lend a helping hand and brought warmth to those around him.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Wise; his brother, Lytle Wise; and numerous nieces and nephews, who will always remember his kindness and laughter. Johnny is preceded in death by his first wife, Willie Wise; his brothers, William, James, Frankie, Eugene, and Wayne Wise; and his sisters, Shirley Wise and Christine Crutcher. Each of them holds a special place in his heart and will be remembered with love.

Family and friends are invited to honor Johnny’s memory. The interment services will take place on September 28, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, located at 3009 Columbia Avenue, Franklin, Tennessee, with a gathering beginning at 1:00 PM.

Johnny Ray Wise will be greatly missed, but the love he shared will live on in the cherished memories of his family and friends.
