Joseph Inman

Mr. Joseph Charles Inman, age 87of Franklin, TN passed away December 3, 2015. Charles was the former owner of the West End Shell in Nashville and the James K. Polk Motel in Columbia with his brother Gordon. Charles later was a realtor with Inman Realtors. Preceded in death by his parents, Les & Lou Ellen Inman; sister, Aleyene Bryant and brother in-law, Claude Bryant. Survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Jean Burns Inman; daughters, Judy (Scott) Yates and Tonya (Mike) Borton; son, Kerry (Margo) Inman; granddaughters, Kaylan and Natalie Borton; grandsons, Jake Myers, Joey Myers and Michael Borton; four great-grandchildren; brother, Gordon (Shaun) Inman; sisters, Miriam (Mahlon) Stovall and Barbara (Billie) Chapman and many other loving nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Charles's caregivers, Mac McDaniel and Herlinda Diaz. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00PM Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Rick White officiating. A private burial will follow with family. Active pallbearers will be Hooper Inman, Jake Myers, Joey Myers, Michael Borton, Terry Chapman, Jeff Chapman, Tommy Stovall, Steve Bryant and Joel Bryant. Honorary pallbearers will be the Luke Boyd Sunday School Class. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Willowbrook Hospice or the Tennessee Baptist Children's Home.
