Joseph Kurdziel

Mr. Joseph Kurdziel, age 76 of Brentwood, TN passed away July 21, 2015. He was a lover of life, family and especially enjoyed his grandchildren and great grandson. His infectious and loving personality endeared all. Joe was a former owner and President of Kurdziel Industries, Inc. He was also active in American Foundrymen's Society, Pattern Maker's Association, Village of Rothbury Council and Board Member of Shelby State Bank. In the year 2000, Joe and his wife Marilyn moved to Nashville, TN to pursue his next great adventure and winning Competition Country Western Dancing World's Championship. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 56 years, Marilyn Kurdziel; daughter, Lori Kurdziel-Riehl; son, Rick (Dawn) Kurdziel; grandchildren, Brittany (Brian) Gates, Kyli (Jack) Whitehead, Nicholas Kurdziel, Kaitlin Kurdziel and Christopher Kurdziel; great grandson, Mason Joseph Gates; sisters, Constance Kurdziel, Marlene (Glen) Leckie and Maria Bertagnoli; brother in-law, Rodney Forbear; sister in-law, Carmen Kurdziel. Preceded in death by parents, Walter & Stella Kurdziel; brothers, Edward, Theodore and Walter James Kurdziel. A memorial service will be held 11:00AM Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 2964 W. Winston Rd. Rothbury, MI 49452.
