Joseph Lewis II

Joseph Henry "Joey" Lewis II, age 52 of Brentwood, TN went to be with the Lord May 29, 2016. He was great at sports. He graduated from Lambeth College in Jackson, TN on a baseball scholarship. Joey enjoyed cutting up with people and a huge Alabama football fan. He enjoyed fishing, cooking and especially Nascar. He was a fan of the Three Stooges. Member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. He was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle and friend. Preceded in death by nephew, Erik Jackson Abernathy; niece, Sara Virginia Abernathy; grandparents, Alvin and Anna Fletcher and Joe and Tina Lewis. Survived by: parents, Joe and Virginia Lewis; son, Jesse Cole Lewis; sisters, Pam (David) Jones & Shari Lewis; nieces, Erin (Mike) Pavelchik, Shannon (Jake) Nieman, Monica (Kalob) Heilman; nephew, Rick Carey; great nephews, Josef Hobt, Aiden Hobt, Jimmy Sirmans; great niece, Jackie Pavelchik and Teagan Nieman; several aunts, uncles and cousins and his cat Duffy. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Bro. Nathan Wilkerson officiating. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to any charity to assist "The 12 Step Program".
