Mr. Josiah "Joe" Carr Eggleston, age 83 of Franklin, TN, March 24, 2015. Longtime member of Franklin First United Methodist Church. Mr. Eggleston graduated from Battle Ground Academy and Vanderbilt University where he was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. Retired from Harpeth National Bank, USF&G and the Crisis Call Intervention Center. Preceded in death by mother, Sophronia Mayberry Eggleston and father, Edmond Waller Eggleston. Survived by wife of 57 years, Judy King Eggleston; daughter, Trish Eggleston Stiles; sister, Marietta Eggleston Burleigh; granddaughter, Wesley Hunter Stiles; first cousins, Eunetta Mayberry Kready, John Beasley and Earl Beasley; nieces, Fontaine Pearson and Kathryn C. Swords; nephews, Doug Carpenter and Stephen Carpenter. Visitation will be 4-7PM Tuesday, March 31st at Williamson Memorial. Memorial services will be held 10:00AM Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Franklin First United Methodist Church with visitation one hour prior, Dr. Lynn Hill officiating. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery.
