Mrs. Joyce M. Cooksy Braswell Fulton, age 81 of Brentwood, TN passed away May 13, 2015. Longtime member of the Rotary Club International volunteering both locally and internationally for many years. Member of Brentwood United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by first husband, Leighton Braswell, Sr. Survived by husband, Boyd D. Fulton; son, Leighton Braswell, Jr. (Sharon Overall) and daughter, Jan (Pat) Benson; step-children, DeWayne (Carlton Cornett) Fulton, Terri (Kevin) Totty and Darren Fulton; grandchildren, Ashley Rue, Anna Hughes, Patrick Benson, Jr. and Alexis Braswell; step-grandchildren, Heather (Jonathan) Alvarado; great grandsons, Logan and Hunter. Graveside service will be held 11:00AM Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Spring Hill Cemetery in Madison, TN. Pastor Jeff Wilson officiating. Family and friends to serve as pallbearers. The Wesley Forum Sunday School Class at Brentwood UMC will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. Visitation will be held 10-11AM Saturday at Spring Hill Funeral Home (Madison). Memorial contributions may be made to the Rotary Club of Green Hills Foundation-Donate Life Organ Tissue Fund or the charity of your choice.
