June Elvenor Whittenburg Redburn, age 94, of Spring Hill, TN passed away October 19, 2014.
She was born August 30, 1920, to the late Halsey and Eva Whittenburg. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Kenneth Leroy Redburn, her son, Gregory Lee Redburn, and her sister, Joan Whittenburg.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen Redburn Danielson Levesque; grandchildren, James (Leah) Danielson, Sean Danielson, Kendaline (Rama) Kampel, Timothy (Beth) Danielson, and Brian (Elizabeth) Kiler; great grandchildren; James "Trevor" and Herbert "Benjamin" sons of James and Leah; Briana, Justin and Jasmine Children of Sean; Annalisa daughter of Kendaline and Rama; Nathan, Hannah and Theodore children of Timothy and Beth; and Patrick and Nathaniel sons of Brian and Elizabeth. She had many well-loved nieces and nephews
June was born in McFarland Kansas and lived there until the end of WWII. After her husband was discharged from the Navy in 1945, she and her daughter moved to California to join him. The family lived in California for many years. After her husband's passing, she moved to Tennessee. She was a life-long Methodist, most recently a member at First Centenary United Methodist in Chattanooga. She loved to read, garden and watch birds.
