Karen was born in Nashville TN on April 24, 1953 daughter to Kenneth & Dorothy Appleton.
She was preceded in death by he father, Kenneth White Appleton.
Survivors include her son, Michael (Rebecca) Colyer; mother, Dorothy Ann Appleton; sister Sherrie (Tony) Kolak & grandson, James Frederick Colyer.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society, in loving memory of Karen Ann Colyer.
