Kenneth Hughes

Mr. Kenneth E. "Peanut" Hughes, age 85 of Nashville, TN passed on October 28, 2016. Born in Nashville, TN to the late Clyde and Elizabeth Warder Hughes. A graduate of Litton H.S. where he played in the "Marching 100+" band. Veteran of the Navy where he served in the Korean War on the USS Lofberg. Retired from the Ford Glass Plant after 30 years. Also preceded in death by a sister, Judy Hughes Hunt and son-in-law, Rod Weaver. He leaves behind his loving wife, Dorthie Ryan Hughes; son, Mark (Kay) Hughes; daughters, Diane Weaver and Linda Black; siblings, Harry Hughes and Merrie Beth (Roger) Johnson; grandchildren, Dustin Weaver and Emily Bottomly; five great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other loving family members. Memorials may be made to Happy Tales Humane Center in Franklin in Kenneth Hughes name. Services will be conducted at 1:00PM on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home.
